All About Points

How do I win points?

You can earn points by volunteering for events, donating items, or sharing your professional expertise. You could also volunteer for a position on your parent leadership team. Check out your Volunteer Board to keep track of all the opportunities to support your community!

How are points calculated?

There are whole points and half points. It's up to the event creator to assign the number of points to the role. The points awarded to certain roles should be based on the level of time and commitment required for the role. For example, volunteering for 1 hour at a bake sale could earn 1 point, and working .5 hours could earn .5 points. Being elected to a leadership position could earn the full 50 points.

How do I keep track of my points?

You don't! Once the day of your volunteering event is over, the points will automatically be added to your total.

Where can I see my points?

You can see your current points by the arc in your Dashboard (Noah's glad we went with that shape). The top arc clarifies the different levels. The bottom arc is your current status. Points you've already won will be in your school's color. Committed but not completed points will be in a lighter shade. You can also hover your mouse over any section and get the numeric equivalent (if shapes aren't your thing).

What if there's an issue with my point total?

If your point total is inaccurate, reach out to one of your parent or school administrators to adjust your points.

What's my point goal?

Your goal is to win 50 points and fill the whole arc!
